What the Untended Garden Quest Requires
At its core, the Untended Garden quest has two main objectives:
Retrieve research data from a terminal inside the Hydroponic Dome Complex
Upload that data to a Field Depot somewhere on the map
Both objectives take place on Dam Battlegrounds, meaning you can complete the entire quest in a single successful run if you plan correctly.
Where to Find the Hydroponic Dome Complex
The Hydroponic Dome Complex is a large, multi-structure area made up of several domed buildings. Because of its size and layout, it's easy to enter the wrong building or miss the terminal entirely if you don't know what you're looking for.
The good news is that you're not locked to a single dome. Based on player experiences, multiple domes within the complex can spawn the same type of research terminal needed for the quest. This gives you some flexibility and reduces the frustration of searching for one specific structure.
Once you reach the complex, move cautiously. The area is often contested, and its open sightlines combined with interior choke points make it a hotspot for both ARC enemies and other players.
How to Retrieve the Research Data
Inside the Hydroponic Dome Complex, look for research terminals positioned within the buildings. These terminals are interactable objects that allow you to download the quest data.
You'll know you've found the correct terminal when the interaction prompt appears. Simply interact with it to retrieve the research data-no additional steps or puzzles required.

How to Find a Field Depot
After retrieving the research data, you must upload it to a Field Depot. These structures are scattered across Dam Battlegrounds, and you can use any Field Depot to finish the quest.
